General FAQs

What is an Anthology?

The word Anthology refers to a collection of artistic works, often considered to be the best of their kind.

We think this perfectly sums-up our jigsaws since they are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard and are designed to be collected, with each theme being referred to as a different three-lettered anthology.

Where do your images come from?

We source our images from a variety of places, but the one thing you can always be certain of is that the artist has been compensated for their work.*

Anthology Artists are the pinnacle of our collections, providing us with exclusive images in return for generous royalty payments for every jigsaw sold that contains their work.

*excludes images that are in the Public Domain.

Are your products made in the USA?

Yes! We craft every jigsaw sold in the USA at our workshop in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

All of our printing, mounting, cutting and shipping is done from the same workshop so you can be assured of receiving an exceptional jigsaw every time.

We also have a second workshop in the UK to service our European customers.

What are your Eco Credentials?

  • Our wood is sustainably sourced in North America and bonded with a soy-based, formaldehyde-free glue.
  • We offer a minimal packaging option to wholesale customers and use recycled/recyclable boxes and mailers for shipping wherever possible.
  • Our tins are fully recyclable forever and a snug fit for the puzzles, minimizing excess material and shipping-related CO2 emissions.
  • We make all our jigsaws in-house, reducing waste and transit requirements.

What is your shipping/returns policy?

We ship using USPS, UPS or FEDEX ground services for best value. All delivery dates are approximate. Rush shipping may be possible but please contact us before ordering if it is required.

We have a 30-day return policy for unopened jigsaws, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

If your jigsaw is damaged upon arrival please make us aware within 7 days of delivery, otherwise to be eligible for a return your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and in its original packaging. We do not accept returns for opened jigsaw puzzles due to the potential for pieces to be lost.

To start a return please contact us at store@anthologypuzzles.com.

What are Mystery Designs?

Ordering a Mystery Design means we will pick a jigsaw to send to you without you knowing the design in advance. There may be no reference image other than a small one on the spine if you order a box/tin.

If you order a Mystery Design as part of a subscription, we guarantee that it will be a brand new one for the current month so you won't risk getting the same design twice.

Custom Jigsaw FAQs

How do I make a custom jigsaw?

All you have to do is upload an image and select from the available options.

The editor will allow you crop the image to fit the cut pattern.

If you have an image in landscape orientation you will need to rotate it. All cut patterns work for both portrait and landscape images as themed pieces are in various orientations, so don't worry if it appears to be sideways in the preview.

How long does production take?

Every jigsaw is produced to order so it typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for production and delivery of your custom jigsaw.

if your order is urgent, contact us to see if we can expedite.

What are the image requirements?

We will produce whatever image you upload, subject to it not having any content that we consider to be illegal or too extreme. Make sure the quality is high enough to look good at your chosen size. We suggest 300 pixels per inch as a minimum.

You can ready our full image disclaimer here.

Do you offer quantity discounts?

Yes! If you are planning to order more than 8 custom jigsaws, such as for wedding favors or corporate gifts, please contact us for a quote or check out our wholesale page if you are a business.
